A new start

Like most of us, I’ve been thinking about a number of things since we first began stocking up and sheltering at home because of Covid-19.

I’ve been making notes – lots of notes.

I feel a strong pull to share my thoughts and feelings – to reach out with my words and share with others — to hear your words and thoughts — to piece together who we are becoming in this time.

But I have hesitated.

Too much of my past training tells me I have to have everything all figured out before I get this going. But I don’t have it all figured out.

Truth be told, I don’t want to spend lots of time planning.  I want to share thoughts and moments, and to connect heart to heart and mind to mind with people who are part of my tribe.

I’ve decided to take a first step.  I want to connect; I want to share; I want to think with people.  AND SO I WILL – short written bits and occasional photos and drawings — from my heart to yours – in this day and time.

I don’t know how often I will write, or what the topics will be (though global and local contexts will likely drive those choices). It’s clear that if I wait to figure it out, NOTHING will ever happen.

I will figure this out as I go along. And I’m starting now.

This is an experiment.

Postcards from this moment.
